Beyoncé played her second of four nights at New York's Roseland Ballroom on Tuesday night, presenting an ear-popping event that served as a cabaret act featuring a ferocious mix of old favorites and new tracks from her album 4.

Billed as an intimate night with the superstar, the show feautured B in a sparkly silver dress, backed by a full-on orchestra and several backup dancers. No costume changes, no elaborate set changes. The real star was B's never-miss-a-note voice and her razzle-dazzle dance moves.

During the first part of the night, Beyoncé gave fans some of the inside stories behind her biggest hits, ranging from her early beginnings with Destiny's Child to her breakout moments as a solo artist. Her swagger never faltered and was evident when she spouted lines like "On April 4, 2008, somebody put a ring on it," before launching into her hit "Single Ladies." Before that revealing moment, Beyoncé sang bits and pieces of her biggest hits like "Bootylicious," "Survivor," "Bills, Bills, Bills," and "Crazy in Love." No stone was left unturned.

The night, however, was really all about 4. She ran through the entire album, displaying her panache for old-school performing the likes of Tina Turner or Diana Ross. During ballads like "1+1," "I Care" and the show-closing "End of Time," Queen B's vocal abilities outshined it all.

It was her ability to throw a party during faster jams like "Party," "Countdown," "End of Time" and "Run the World (Girls)" that put on full display her range as a performer, dancing and singing live the entire night. Her fans sang along to every word and their energy for the material was only matched by Beyoncé's enthusiasm for live performance.

Russia says U.S. visa move won't affect cooperation (Reuters)

MOSCOW (Reuters) ? U.S. visa restrictions on Russian officials linked to the death of investment fund lawyer Sergei Magnitsky will not affect cooperation on Iran and Afghanistan, a senior Russian official said on Tuesday.

"Speaking about the information in the U.S. media about an asymmetrical response, a cutback in cooperation over Afghanistan, Iran, the Middle East, then there is nothing more far from reality than such speculations," Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov was quoted as saying by Russian news agencies.

The 2009 death of the 37-year-old, who worked for equity fund Hermitage Capital and died after a year in Russian jails, spooked investors and tarnished Russia's image. The Kremlin's human rights council says he was probably beaten to death.

The United States imposed visa restrictions on some Russian officials believed to be involved in Magnitsky's death. Russia reacted angrily, prompting concerns that the move could affect the "reset" policy between the two Cold War foes.

"We are working to respond symmetrically," Ryabkov was quoted as saying.

The friction over the case comes as the U.S. Senate advances a proposed Sergei Magnitsky Rule of Law Accountability Act that would require the State Department to freeze the officials' U.S. assets.

President Barack Obama's administration has drafted a memo opposing the legislation, saying it had already taken similar action under existing law, according to a copy of the document obtained by The Cable blog at Foreign Policy magazine and posted on the Internet.

The memo also says Russian officials have warned that passage of the Senate measure would have an impact on its cooperation with the United States on issues of international concern, including transit to Afghanistan. A key route for supplying troops in Afghanistan goes across Russia.

Milwaukee?s best: Dan Hardy, baseball and bratwurst

MILWAUKEE -- What happens when a mohawked Brit goes to a baseball game in America? Hooliganism of the worst kind, of course!

OK, not at all. While waiting for his UFC on Versus 5 bout against Chris Lytle, Dan Hardy took in a game at Miller Park. Behind ace Zack Greinke and home runs from Ryan Braund and Prince Fielder, the Brewers easily beat the Pirates. But Hardy saw much more than the game. It's Milwaukee, so there was food and fans and sausage races!

It's a little disappointing that Hardy didn't dance when put on the jumbotron.

UFC fighters Pat Barry and Anthony Pettis also dropped by for some baseball and brats.

As usual, the crowd was fired up for the sausage race. Don't act like you wouldn't be, too.

Hardy talked to and signed autographs for Brewers fans. Don't worry, Hardy fans. Those aren't his empty beer cans. See more pictures from the evening here.
