Last weekend I spent two days in Las Vegas, no I wasn?t gambling or cavorting with showgirls I was at the Erotic Authors Associations inaugural conference.
After two days of intensive workshops and panel sessions, not to mention a lot of jetlag, I came away inspired for my own writing and for Eroticon. ?One thing that became obvious was that Eroticon should have a session with representatives from the many erotic publishing houses, so I am absolutely delighted to announce that Hazel Cushion, aka Miranda Forbes, of Xcite Books will be speaking at Eroticon.
What I really liked about listening to Hazel speak was her straight forwardness and sense of humour. ?Hazel?started Xcite Books in 2007 launching her first titles on Valentines Day ? the same day she was invited to Buckingham Palace to meet the Queen! ?The list has since won wide acclaim winning the ETO Best Erotic Book Brand and Jade Publishing Awards 2010. ?Xcite is now one of the UK largest erotic publishers and has distribution in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
Hazel and I are also in cahoots with regard to an exciting (excuse the pun) writing competition and some lovely goodies for the swag bags.
