THE SCOUTS: Coming off a come-from-behind victory, Weiser is built to outscore the opposition ? similar to Bishop McDevitt. And the Scouts have some weapons. RB Angel Cruz (5) is a horse the Crusaders are familar with from last year. The senior has rushed for 1,742 yards, averages 7.1 a carry and has 26 touchdowns. Conrad Weiser averages 360 yards and 33 points a game. QB Nick Schoener (6) has thrown for 1,359 yards and 15 scores with only four picks. The Scouts? defense surrenders nearly 300 yards and 22 points a game.

THE CRUSADERS: In 11 games the gents from Market Street have amassed nearly 5,000 yards of total offense and have scored 438 points (39.8 ppg). Senior QB Alec Werner (13) has completed 70 percent of his passes this season for 2,522 yards. In the last three games he?s thrown for 905 yards with seven touchdowns. Having WR Brian Lemelle (7), who just cleared 1,000 yards for the season, is a plus. RB Rashad Lawson (3) is close to full strength. Will injured RB Andre Robinson (5) be available? Cruz is a tough runner and will challenge this McD defense.

SHAY SAYS: Impressive year offensively for Conrad Weiser (+23). Just not sure it?s possible to upset the Crusaders by outscoring them. Scouts will give it a crack, though. It?s what they do.
