Grow an Endless Supply of Celery from an Old Celery Stalk

Grow an Endless Supply of Celery from an Old Celery StalkThis little indoor gardening project might mean never having to buy celery again. Turn the base end of a bunch of celery (which you'd normally throw out or compost) into a celery plant, for an everlasting supply of the vegetable.

Like regrowing romain lettuce and spring onions, the process involves putting the base into a small bowl of water in sunlight, then planting it in a container after a few days.

Just a week after starting, you'll have celery leaves at the ready and stalks within a few months.

Hit up the 17 Apart blog post before for more details on regrowing your own celery.
