Question by Lady: If we want to adopt should we become foster parents first?
We want to adopt but I hear it can be close to impossible to be able to do so. I also hear that fostering is something near anyone can do.. and that adopting through foster care is much easier.. So is that the way to go? If so how exactly would I get started?

Don?t foster solely to adopt the child. That equals heartbreak for you. Foster because you want to help children reunite with their families.

You do not need to be a foster parent to adopt a child from foster care. Just adopt through foster care, but research research research.

Please don?t become a foster parent just to adopt, it is counteractive to the fostering process!
