It is very helpful not only to individual or groups at social level but also at organizational level. The process of negotiation takes place either consciously or unconsciously almost at every place and every situation, whether it is our day to day life in the families or at the work place.
Negotiation skills are basically of three types namely day-to-day/managerial negotiations, commercial negotiations and legal negotiations. And negotiations can be done in different styles. The most common styles of negotiation are:

c. Collaborating which is done by individuals having creative bent of mind and enjoy negotiations that involve tough problems.
d. Competing is done by individuals who enjoy negotiations because they present an opportunity to win something.
e. Compromising is done by individuals who are eager to close the deal by doing what is fair and equal for all the parties involved in the negotiation.

The other important skill that you need to have for being successful in your professional life is presentation skill.
It is the first managerial skill that any professional should acquire. You can give good presentation only if you take into considerations the following things:You must know your audience and their expectation, consider the environment and check whether all the audiovisual equipments are working in perfectly, should know your purpose, know how to start with an impact, know how to end the presentation, should structure the presentation properly, know how to present with ease, consider when to use the handout.
