Having made the sudden announcement that he?s parted ways with his longtime bride, Arnold Scwarzenegger spoke about his split with Maria Shriver for the first time on Tuesday (May 10).
The ?Terminator? actor was in attendance at the 63rd Israel Independence Day Celebration, at which he told press that he and Maria are ?taking it one day at a time.?
?I want to take a moment and thank our many friends and family for the tremendous amount of support and love that you have given us in the last 24 hours,? Arnold explained.
Continuing on about breaking up after 25 years of togetherness, the former California governor said, ?I just spoke to Maria an hour ago before I came here. We both were saying the same thing ? we?re extremely blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful people, by so many wonderful friends.?
