College Football Rankings, Week 11: Ohio State Buckeyes move up in AP

The Ohio State Buckeyes moved into the top five after a 52-22 victory against Illinois.

The Ohio State Buckeyes moved up a spot in the Week 11 Associated Press Poll to the No. 5 slot. After a 52-22 victory against Illinois on Saturday, the Buckeyes improved to 10-0 on the season and 6-0 in Big Ten play.

The positive shift for Urban Meyer's team was aided by the Alabama victory against LSU, which moved the Tigers to ninth place in the poll after sitting in the fifth spot last week. The top four teams of Alabama, Oregon, Kansas State and Notre Dame didn't budge in the standings.

Boise State, West Virginia and Arizona were the three teams that fell out of this week's poll, while No. 19 Texas, No. 23 Toledo and No. 24 Rutgers moved into the top 25.

The Buckeyes' schedule has saved the best for last. Perennial Big Ten powers Wisconsin and Michigan are the final two games for Ohio State.
