Registration for the winter 2012 season of Queen Creek?s Double Header Adult Co-Rec Softball League begins Nov. 5. Registration fees are $475 per team with up to 20 people on the roster. The first eight teams will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis. Registration is available at QueenCreek.org and at the Library Recreation Annex, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road. Registration forms will be accepted 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday. All participants must be 16 years or older.

League play takes place from Jan. 9-Mar. 8, with a season-end, single-elimination tournament. Games are played Wednesday and Friday evenings at Aldecoa Memorial Ball Field at Founders? Park, 22407 S. Ellsworth Road.

Team managers must attend a mandatory meeting to be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the Library Recreation Annex. League schedules will only be available at the team manager?s meeting.

Awards will be given to the team with the best overall season record and to the tournament winner. The Town of Queen Creek Adult Softball Leagues follows ASA rules that are modified for the town.

The Town?s Recreation Division offers a variety of classes for all ages and interests. Class offerings include dance, fitness, art, preschool, tum bling, cheerleading, music, drama, sports and workshops.
